EPD platform

SuPIM

The Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (IBU) has been providing its members with a cross-industry program for the publication of verified environmental product declarations (EPD) for building-related products and services in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804 or ISO 21930 for many years to disposal. The IBU's members currently include over 210 national and international companies and associations from all areas of the construction industry, which have currently published over 1.800 EPDs in the IBU database system.

EPD-Online leads to the IBU's EPD database system, in which your own EPDs can be created, edited and submitted for verification and publication.

In addition, anyone interested can search for EPDs in EPD-Online.

SuPIM is the IBU's product information system for members and non-members, in which manufacturers can tailor the construction product-related requirements of the green building certification systems DGNB, BNB, LEED and BREEAM for their product. SuPIM is thus the central storage location for all product-related sustainability data. You can see at a glance whether all the necessary documents are available and up to date.

This makes SuPIM a useful tool for auditors of the implemented building certification systems. All product data relevant to certification, including verification documents, can be viewed compactly and is available for download.

For the actors involved in the product selection process, such as architects, planners and building owners, SuPIM serves as a database with numerous research functions.
